We utilize the classic Chinese medical diagnostic tools of pulse diagnosis, tongue diagnosis and palpitation in order to diagnose your condition effectively. The diagnosis gathered informs individualized acupuncture treatments and to address your specific condition effectively. The first appointment generally lasts an hour and a half. Follow up sessions are an hour duration.

Chinese herbology is a beautiful and sophisticated system of medicine and has been used for thousands of years around the world. Moxibustion, cupping therapy and nutritional guidance are also used when indicated.

Master Tung acupuncture is a unique system that produces reliable results in the treatment of a multitude of conditions including fertility, gynecological and pain related conditions. In addition we utilize additional acupuncture styles including TCM, dry needling, and trigger point acupuncture when indicated.

What should I bring to the appointment?

Please bring any relevant medical records and lab test results to your first appointment, and a loose pair of clothing to allow easy access to the acupuncture points.
 
Please make sure to eat something in the 2 hours before your treatment.

Often post treatment there is a good feeling of overall relaxation and wellbeing. In the hours following your treatment it is best to rest, and not do any strenuous exercise.

At Acupuncture Israel we specialize in the treatment of infertility and gynecological conditions, and in the treatment of migraines and headaches.
We commonly work with couples going through conventional fertility treatments such as IVF and IUI, and with couples who would like to conceive naturally, and have not yet begun the conventional medical path. By working with both the man and woman, we strive for the best results possible using individualized treatment approaches for each and every couple.
Besides for fertility related conditions we focus on women’s health including hormonal imbalances, PCOS, menstrual disorders, PMS, mood disorders and autoimmune conditions.
Migraine headaches is a common debilitating condition which can dramatically affect the quality of a person’s life. Often people suffer for years from such headaches, after having tried conventional medicine and other therapies. We have seen very positive results both in the case of acute and chronic migraines.
In addition, at our Jerusalem clinic we commonly treat digestive disorders, sleep issues, anxiety and stress related conditions and muscular skeletal problems such as low back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, rotator cuff issues, tennis and golf elbow, neck pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other pain related conditions.

Acupuncture needles are incredibly thin, and patients do not usually feel pain with the insertion. There is sometimes a light tingling or throbbing sensation around the needle site, which is a positive sign.
